Terms of Service

1. Contractual Relationship

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MHZDev Ltd ("MHZDev", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the United Kingdom, governing your access to and use of the Rosio mobile application (the "App") and the website located at https://rosio.app (the "Service").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service & Shared Account Model

Rosio is a shared couples' application designed to provide a joint space for messaging, photo storage, calendar syncing, recipe books, financial planning, lists, quizzes, and games.

The Shared Account Model: Rosio is built on a single, shared account model. A single set of credentials or invitation link binds two partners to the same account. As a result:

• All content uploaded, inputted, or stored in the App by either partner is instantly visible, accessible, and editable by both partners. There are no private, unshared sub-sections.
• Either partner can edit, add, or delete information, and these changes are synced immediately to the other partner's device.
• Either partner has the ability to download a full data export or permanently delete the account, which will delete the account and all associated data for both partners.

3. Account Registration & Security

To use the App, you must register a shared account. You agree to provide accurate, complete information during registration. Both partners are jointly responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account login details and for all actions taken under the shared account.

You agree to notify us immediately at mhzdev.contact@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to or breach of security of your shared account.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases (Rosio Plus)

Some features of Rosio require a paid subscription ("Rosio Plus").

• Pricing & Subscriptions: Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis as displayed in the App (standard pricing: £4.99/month or £39.99/year, subject to local currency variation). Rosio Plus is a single subscription that covers both partners on the shared account.
• Free Trials: First-time subscriptions may come with a 14-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period, you will automatically be charged the standard subscription price.
• Billing: Transactions, billing, and renewals are handled via Apple App Store (Apple APNs/StoreKit) or Google Play Store (Google Play Billing) through our processor, RevenueCat. Payments will be charged to your App Store or Google Play account.
• Cancellations and Refunds: You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings. All refund requests must be processed directly through Apple or Google, in accordance with their respective policies.

5. User Content & Licensing

You and your partner retain all ownership rights to the photos, text, calendar events, list items, finances, and other content you upload or input into the App ("User Content").

By uploading User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid-up license to host, store, copy, transmit, format, and display your User Content, solely for the purpose of providing and operating the Service to you and your partner. This license terminates when you delete your account or content.

6. Intellectual Property

Except for User Content, all rights, title, and interest in the Service (including the App design, code, graphics, logos, branding, and text) are and will remain the exclusive property of MHZDev Ltd. You may not copy, reverse engineer, distribute, or modify any part of the App or website without our express written permission.

7. Account Deletion & Termination

Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data in the App at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Because Rosio is a shared account, this permanently removes all data for both partners and cannot be undone.

Termination by Us: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms or if we cease to offer the Service.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MHZDev Ltd disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

MHZDev Ltd does not guarantee that the Service will be secure, error-free, uninterrupted, or that data loss will not occur. Under no circumstances shall MHZDev Ltd be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the Service.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising under these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the App or on the website. Your continued use of the App after terms are updated constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
